VARSITY TENNIS DOMINATES IN FIRST MATCH OF 2024-2025

The Tors were clutch yesterday in their first match of the season versus Lamar Consolidated. The varsity team won 17-2 overall and went 7-1 in matches decided by two games or less. The player of the day was Analiese Rosales-Morales. She and her doubles partner took down a top-seeded doubles player from this past spring’s regional tournament (9-8, tiebreaker 7-1). While fighting through an illness, Analiese dominated her singles by jumping out to a 6-1 lead before her opponent withdrew due to injury. The Tors will be back on the courts this Friday 8/23/2024 for a match away against Elsik.
