The Tors made playoffs again! Tonight we secured second place in our district with a 14-5 victory over La Porte. Player of the game today was Thuc Ngo who won his doubles with partner Shawn Han 8-3 (3 line) and then singles 6-1, 6-0 (3 line).
The first round, bi-district playoff match will be the first match on our new courts! We'll play Baytown Lee on Tuesday, October 8th. We haven't confirmed a start time, but I'm anticipating around 4pm. We'll also take this home match opportunity to celebrate our seniors for a "senior night".
The Varsity team finished with a 7-1 record. We're happy with the strong finish to the regular season and we're looking to carry the momentum into playoffs.
